Tight shirt, Charles Barkley

This picture of Charles Barkley was allegedly taken after the Hall of Famer and TNT NBA analyst had swapped shirts "with a bro." That allegation is A) unconfirmed, but B) seems more reasonable than assuming a 50-year-old man who's struggled with his weight over the years likes to hit the town in plaid short-sleeved smedium button-downs. It also C) seems very much the kind of thing Charles Barkley would do in the interest of having a few laughs and sharing a light moment with a young man who may or may not be "Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad" star Matthew Lawrence and who is clearly celebrating something that calls for some fine cham-pagna. ABC: Always Be Chucking. Always Be Cringing? Always Be #CrushingIt.

Like, I wouldn't necessarily recommend approaching Charles Barkley with a shirt-swap suggestion in the middle of a hotel lobby/bar/lounge-type area, but if you feel like you absolutely must try to get a famous NBA personality to wear your bro's comically small shirt and take a picture, he's probably your best bet. Among retired players, at least — I'd probably take Metta World Peace among active players. Perhaps your opinion varies; if so, please feel free to share it in the comments.

That said, this doesn't look nearly as ridiculous as you'd imagine, given Barkley's well-documented historical roundness. Way to stay on your Weight Watchers game, Chuck. Cause for celebratory shirt-swapping, for sure.

Hat-tip to Trey Kerby at The Basketball Jones, whose Chris Farley joke was the right one to make, as per usual.
