C: SB Nation and Hang Time. Mike Prada and John Schuhmann do dynamite jobs of breaking down LeBron James' evident, persistent struggles in the Miami Heat's huge Game 3 loss to the San Antonio Spurs, owing in part to San Antonio's deep-sagging, paint-packing team defense and James' curious inability to hit jumpers in the Finals after sharpening his stroke this season.
PF: Grantland. Zach Lowe's Game 3 recap focuses on the surprisingly porous and uncommunicative Heat defense that enabled San Antonio's full-scale long-range onslaught: "[...] the Heat will lose just like this if they continue to make very basic NBA mistakes."
SF: Waiting for Next Year. A good read from Scott Sargent on how being jettisoned by the Cleveland Cavaliers in favor of the likes of Manny Harris was the best thing that could ever have happened to NBA Finals-leading scorer Danny Green.
SG: The Brooklyn Game. With the Brooklyn Nets' head coaching situation seemingly getting more complicated and interesting every time you refresh Twitter, Devin Kharpertian bats around the question of whether Jason Kidd: Head Coach is a risk worth taking for Mikhail Prokhorov.
PG: USA Basketball. The U.S. men's national basketball team released the 27-man roster for its upcoming mini-camp, which looks like it'll feature a ton of awesome young talent headlined by All-Stars Kyrie Irving, Paul George and Jrue Holiday, 2012 Olympian Anthony Davis and 2012-13 Rookie of the Year Damian Lillard.
6th: BallInEurope. A look at which international NBA players will/won't/might/might not be competing for their home/adopted nations in the upcoming FIBA EuroBasket 2013 tournament.
7th: Land o' Lakers. Brian Kamenetzky makes the case for the Los Angeles Lakers pulling out all the stops to trade Pau Gasol this offseason, which is an idea that I reflexively oppose, but of which I can understand the appeal (depending on the return, natch).
8th: New York Daily News. Hey, remember how the New York Knicks said they were going to let Carmelo Anthony rest for three weeks before re-evaluating him to see if he'd need surgery on the partially torn labrum in his left shoulder? Well, it's ben three weeks, and so far — shockingly! — there's no news coming out of Madison Square Garden about the New York All-Star's health.
9th: The Point Forward. With the end of the season drawing near and offseason moves sure to come for many teams, Rob Mahoney looks at which players seem most likely to be amnestied to shed underperforming assets and create salary cap room — and, perhaps just as importantly, which players aren't.
10th: All Ball. Lang Whitaker talks Spurs-themed haircuts with San Antonio barber Rob Ferrel.
