SF: Hardwood Paroxysm, HoopChalk, Posting and Toasting and NBA.com's Hang Time Blog. Hey, New York Knicks, and especially Carmelo Anthony? Maybe take it easy on the isolations in Game 6 against the Boston Celtics, huh? Just a little? Because they're not working NEARLY as well as you think.
SG: Grantland. If the Houston Rockets are to draw even with the Oklahoma City Thunder in Friday's Game 6, it'll probably be because OKC continues to commit the kind of defensive lapses that allow Houston's go-go offense to score in bunches. Zach Lowe breaks down the Thunder breakdowns that are just (or nearly) as much an explanation for Oklahoma City's recent downturn as the offensive absence of Russell Westbrook.
PG: Denver Stiffs. After a disappointing loss Thursday night, it's time for Andre Iguodala to figure out what he wants to do this summer and beyond: "I didn't really think the season would be ending this early. It was never on my mind what I would do next year."
6th: Forum Blue and Gold. Now that the Los Angeles Lakers have been swept out of the opening round and finished up their exit interviews, what's next for a proud franchise (momentarily) laid low? Darius Soriano poses four pressing questions that frame a pretty big offseason in L.A.
7th: SB Nation. Stephen Curry made 51 shots in the Golden State Warriors' six-game series win over the Denver Nuggets. Mike Prada picks out and breaks down his 10 favorites.
8th: Hickory High. The Chicago Bulls couldn't pull out a win in Game 6, but Joakim Noah did everything he could (14 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, five blocks in 43 minutes) to finish off the Brooklyn Nets, and was particularly sensational late in the game. Ian Levy breaks down Noah's just-a-bit-short clutch performance.
9th: The Oregonian. Fresh off his unanimous Rookie of the Year selection, Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard is already planning to tighten up his (very) loose defensive game by working this summer with another East Oakland lead guard — newly minted Hall of Famer Gary Payton.
