Head’s up! Unsuspecting fan smacked in face by kicked ball during Nets win over 76ers (Video)

Y'know, the "ball to the face" thing happens at Nets games more often than you'd think, but usually, it's to players, or to oblivious dudes texting in the front row. This poor guy was actually watching the action — he just never in a million years thought MarShon Brooks would make a defensive effort, and he didn't react the kicked ball quickly enough. Conclusion: Doink.

Luckily, our step-slow supporter appeared to be none the worse for wear, and even got a quick towel-off from Brooklyn Nets star Deron Williams. Usually, if you want that kind of treatment from a Nets point guard, you've got to offer Kenny Anderson $500 on Thuzio. Just one of the many perks of the up-front seats at Barclays Center ... which are great, provided you can avoid the myriad perils, too.
