Kobe rests ankle, not in Lakers' starting lineup (Yahoo! Sports)

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Kobe Bryant wasn't in uniform when the Los Angeles Lakers tipped off Sunday night against the Sacramento Kings, missing his first game of the season to rest his sprained left ankle.
