Rasheed Wallace is ejected for yelling ‘BALL DON’T LIE,’ as he celebrates our fifth birthday (VIDEO)

On Wednesday, Ball Don't Lie will celebrate its fifth birthday. We were the first to publish under the Yahoo! Sports Blogs canon, and I am very proud and more than a little emotional to have been part of every step along the way.

New York Knicks center Rasheed Wallace, apparently, is feeling the same way. His tribute to our anniversary comes a little early, but apparently Sheed couldn't wait until Dec. 5th to wish us the very best as we head into our second half-decade of serving you with what you think you demand as an NBAnik.

(Also, Rasheed Wallace was thrown out of a matinee game on Sunday for yelling "BALL DON'T LIE," taking in his second technical foul seconds after earning his first by needlessly hammering Luis Scola after being called for a personal foul.)

HT, Royce Young at Eye On Basketball.

Cap-doff, Jamie Mottram; who chose the name "Ball Don't Lie."

Deep bow, you. Thank you, readers.
