Details are slim at this point, even a day after her passing, but it appears as if a masseuse hired to work on the ailing abdomen of Miami Heat All-Star Chris Bosh collapsed at his home Monday and later passed away at a hospital. Bosh, who has been upgraded to a "game-time decision" as he recovers from the abdominal strain he suffered on May 13, has not commented on the incident. Bosh's proximity to the woman, who was described by police as being "in good spirits" before she collapsed, is unknown at this early stage.
Foul play is not suspected by Miami-area police. The initial statement reported that the masseuse was a recent cancer survivor. Our sympathies to her family, and we at Ball Don't Lie will have updates on this sad incident as the news warrants.
