On Wednesday, Deadspin relayed the pictures posted on the Twitter account of a Barclays Arena worker that appeared to tip off the new Brooklyn Nets logo. It was an unofficial shot, possibly doctored, so we passed on passing the knowledge along to you. On Thursday, though, we've picked up a pretty strong hint as to what the new logo will look like. Even if the team still won't official unveil its colors until a scheduled press conference on April 30th.
Courtesy of BallIsLife.com (via Holly MacKenzie), here's a shot of part team-owner Jay-Z, sporting the Nets' somewhat guitar pick-ish styled design. Scope it out:
Simple, staid, black and white and classy all over. Now, if only the team had a good roster in hand to show it off, when the Brooklyn Nets tip off in November of 2012.
