The Mavericks have signed free agent Kelenna (ka-LYNN'-a) Azubuike (az-a-BOO'-key), who hasn't played since tearing a knee tendon with Golden State two seasons ago. The announcement Friday came a day after the Mavericks waived center Sean Williams to create a roster spot. Azubuike spent four seasons with the Warriors and has career averages of 10.6 points and 4.0 rebounds.
