A person with knowledge of the situation tells The Associated Press that Minnesota Timberwolves rookie sensation Ricky Rubio is out for the rest of the season with a torn ligament in his left knee. Rubio had an MRI on Saturday after he was injured in the closing seconds of a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night.
