Ellis tells Bucks he will opt out of contract (Yahoo! Sports)

ST. FRANCIS, Wis. (AP) -- Monta Ellis will be an unrestricted free agent July 1 after informing the Milwaukee Bucks he is opting out of the final year of his contract.
