Brian Shaw gets first crack at head coaching job (Yahoo! Sports)

DENVER (AP) -- A person with knowledge of the negotiations tells The Associated Press that Indiana Pacers assistant coach Brian Shaw has agreed to succeed George Karl as coach of the Denver Nuggets.
