Tim Duncan, despite his 37 years of age, has been rather beastly in the 2013 NBA playoffs. He’s up to averages of 18 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.3 combined blocks/steals and 2.2 steals in only 34 slowed-down minutes a contest over the postseason. His defense has been stellar. His leadership has been on point, as usual. And he has his San Antonio Spurs, entering Monday night’s Game 4 contest against the Memphis Grizzlies, a win away from their first NBA Finals since 2007.
Scariest of all? He’s now realized what most of us have known for years. Tim Duncan, sentient human being and future Basketball Hall of Famer, has arms. Two of them, in fact. Watch his discovery, from Saturday night’s Game 3 win:
We’re doomed. Next thing you know, Tim is going to discover swords or fast Japanese cars or the drop-step or even a banked-in jump shot.
