Losing is frustrating; losing in the playoffs is miserable. Losing to a team you think you can beat is hard, but losing to a team that won a Game 7 on your home floor and has beaten you 11 out of the last 16 times you've squared off is deflating. Getting blown out stinks, but falling on a well-defended, double-tough buzzer-beater is even worse. We hold these truths to be self-evident.
When confronted with the sobering reality of one's nemesis prevailing, it's difficult to know what can soften the sting of defeat. So we applaud you, Outdoors Inc. of Memphis, for thinking of just the right words to say to the Memphis Grizzlies and their fans as the team looks to come back from an 0-2 deficit to the Los Angeles Clippers:
If calling the Clippers wieners doesn't change the complexion of this series, then I don't know what will.
Also, I certainly won't participate, but if you're sitting there at your desk doing mental power rankings of which Clippers are most wiener-y, and you'd like to let me know who your choice would be in the comments below, I mean, I GUESS I can't stop you. It's a free country, after all.
