Ty Lawson, Kenneth Faried hook up for 65-foot alley-oop in Nuggets win over Suns (VIDEO)

Having some trouble shaking the cobwebs loose this Tuesday morning? Let the dynamic Denver Nuggets duo of Ty Lawson and Kenneth Faried put an extra shot of espresso in your coffee. Just don't let them do it from as far away as Lawson threw this lob, or put it down as hard as Faried caught and flushed it on the Phoenix Suns, because then you'll be starting your day by trying to get coffee out of your dress shirt, and nobody wants that.

Let's dial long-distance with about 4 1/2 minutes left in the second quarter on Monday night:

The 65-foot (give or take) hookup came as part of a 17-7 half-ending run that put Denver on top 53-50 at intermission; a quick 6-0 run in the first 70 seconds of the third quarter pushed the lead to nine, and the Nuggets would never trail again, running away late from a game-but-outgunned Suns team to a 108-93 win. The W was Denver's ninth straight and 10th in 11 games, pushing their record to 43-22, just one game back (albeit three in the loss column) of the Memphis Grizzlies for a coveted top-four seed in the Western Conference and the home-court advantage that comes with it.

More importantly, though, this game offered us the matchup we've long been waiting for — a big-man battle between Denver's Kosta Koufos and Phoenix's Hamed Haddadi. Koufos won out, with a career-high 22 points on 10 for 11 shooting and 10 rebounds in just 26 minutes, but noted people's champ Haddadi offered a surprising and welcome spark off the Suns' bench with 13 points, eight rebounds and two blocks in 18 1/2 minutes.

Now if that information doesn't keep you awake, then I don't know what will. (Or, y'know, maybe just watch the huge lob again.)

If the clip above isn't rocking for you, please feel free to check out the long-range smash elsewhere, thanks to our friends Oakley & Allen.
