A look around the league and the Web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.
C: YouTube user pylbetajv. Holy crap, Ivan Johnson. Now I regret not watching more of the Atlanta Hawks' 107-88 Wednesday win over the Toronto Raptors. ... OK, not really. But again: Holy crap, Ivan Johnson.
PF: Grantland. My dudes @netw3rk and Steve McPherson cast the Western Conference's contenders as "Game of Thrones" houses, factions and characters, and it is lovely, and I 100 percent can't wait until Sunday night.
SF: Ballerball. A Dirk Nowitzki/"Minecraft" mashup? Man, we better get to something less nerdy quick.
SG: Silver Screen and Roll. "Pau Gasol needs to be in the post." Second verse, same as the first. (Or, actually, probably more like, "Ninth verse, same as the first eight, and man, this is a pretty long song.")
PG: Brooklyn's Finest. Last season, Andray Blatche and JaVale McGee were Problem Children 1 and 1A (or, if you'd like to include Nick Young, perhaps 1B and 1C) in our nation's capital, the two players most frequently pointed toward as What's Wrong With the Washington Wizards. Now, they are, as Jeremy Gordon notes, "indispensable bench elements of two playoff teams." I guess this is growing up.
6th: Hoop76. Gather 'round, everyone: It's time for Philadelphia 76ers blogger Tom Sunnergren to come clean. "Three years ago this summer, I was publicly wrong about something of great consequence. It was a mistake I’ve been slow to acknowledge, but that I’ll be silent on no more. I wanted the Sixers to draft Evan Turner. I was wrong."
7th: SB Nation. Andrew Sharp loves how New York Knicks sixth man J.R. Smith describes his relationship with coach Mike Woodson, and how J.R. is playing these days, and actually, now that you mention it, how J.R. was playing before that, and basically everything that makes J.R. Smith so very J.R. Smith-y. On this score, we agree wholeheartedly.
8th: TrueHoop. Kevin Arnovitz on Chris Paul's return to Louisiana, this time clad in the red of the Los Angeles Clippers ... and, by the time he got back to the locker room, clad in not much at all.
9th: Hornets247.com. Speaking of New Orleans: I dug this lengthy, detail-rich and measured consideration of Al-Farouq Aminu, a player whose size, athleticism, youth and potential are all enticing, but whose production has been very disappointing for a lottery pick ... and a player about whom the New Orleans Hornets will have to make a decision this offseason, since they declined to make him a qualifying offer, meaning he'll hit unrestricted free agency this summer. How much would you pay him?
10th: Style Points. There is no such thing as a bad time to watch, read about and think about Drazen Petrovic. Ever.
